Let's get some design variety and offer mixed colors instead of forcing people to purchase three pairs of the same color.
Didn't know they were "hiking" socks. I need them for cold weather, of which there is plenty here (MN) even in the house from mid-fall to mid-Spring. And they still seemed pretty fresh after I wore them all day once (I do that with all my wool socks, and Dahlgren's even says it's OK to do so, but I do leave a day in between uses). Percentage of wool (high, 49% or so, don't remember exactly) seems to hit the spot--too many socks get chintzy with the wool amount.
